A NEW HOME FOR LUXURY PIERCING AT THE STRAND ARCADE
This week, we’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of our stand-alone Piercing Lab at the historic Strand Arcade in Sydney. The architecturally designed space serves as a destination for Ear Alchemy, the SARAH & SEBASTIAN method of transformative ear adornment, bringing together luxury styling and anatomy-specific ear piercing with our 18-karat gold and platinum fine jewellery.
As part of an ongoing collaboration, we worked with Blue Mountains-based sculptor Morgan Shimeld on a bespoke bronze bench for the lab. Drawn to Shimeld’s hand-crafted approach and the beautifully finished patina of his work, the bench adds an element of engineered artistry to the space.
Each piercing appointment begins with a styling consultation, offering personalised advice from our team of industry experts. When entering the Piercing Lab, clients will be drawn to a linear display showcasing our collection of signature earrings including cartilage-specific designs, with a broad offering of hoops and studs encrusted with natural diamonds and precious gemstones.

Designed by architect George Livissianis, the Piercing Lab embodies the space and utilises linear shapes, bronze mirrors and reflective surfaces to bring a modern feel to The Strand Arcade’s heritage facade.
